Craig Hill is The News Tribune’s injury-prone Adventure writer. After eight years covering college football and basketball, he started writing about  adventure sports in 2004. Reaching the summit of Mount Rainier is one of the top 10 adventures in the United States, according to National Geographic Adventure magazine.

Whle many folks travel the world looking for adventure, the magazine in its April/May issue offers a list of the 50 best American adventures.

Here are the top 10 adventure:
