Tacoma firefighters were on the scene of a mobile crane crash at South 15th and Pacific Avenue.

A caller reported that no one appeared to be injured.

Washington State Patrol and Tacoma police have been called to block off traffic in the area.

UPDATE: One passerby reports the crane took out some trees and light poles down near the Convention Center.

It missed taking out the Tully's and Quizno's.

Adam Lynn covers courts as part of the Crime and Breaking News Team at The News Tribune, where he’s worked since 2003.
