This week: Nationwide Tour's Players Cup, Thursday through Sunday, Pete Dye Golf Club, Bridgeport, W.Va.

World ranking: 542nd.

2008 earnings: $58,630 (53rd on the Nationwide Tour).

Last tournament: The Tacoma native tied for 14th at the inaugural Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic (12-under 273), and is now 2-for-2 in making cuts in Canada (finished tied for 34th at the 2007 Canadian Open). This is a big-paying tournament, with the winner all but guaranteeing a spot on the PGA Tour next season ($180,000 payout). Ninety-five of the top 100 players on tour are entered in this event.

Tee time Thursday: 4:54 a.m. PDT off the 10th tee with Jeff Klauk and David Morland IV.
