Puyallup's Ryan Moore will host his second BMW Northwest Challenge starting Friday (shotmaking clinic at The Classic) and Saturday (18-hole skins game at Chambers Bay). Here are the other three participants – Aaron Baddeley, Ben Crane and Bubba Watson:

AARON BADDELEY
Age: 27.
Hometown: Scottsdale, Ariz.
PGA Tour wins (2): 2006 Verizon Heritage, 2007 FBR Open.
2008 FedEx Cup playoffs: 43rd, finished at BMW Championship.
World ranking: 26th.
This season: It's been a good season, but not a great one for the Australian, whose best finish was a tie for second at the Heritage in late April. He has eight top-25 finishes, but like Moore, he's endured a few speed bumps. Fitness has been a real priority in the past season.
Baddeley comments: "I always practice. I'm always trying to improve. That's the great thing about this game."
Moore's comments: "His swing is in a great place … and he's in the best shape of his life, but it still takes something else for it to clock, and work. He's battling through some little frustrations."

BEN CRANE
Age: 32.
Hometown: Westlake, Texas.
PGA Tour wins (2): 2003 BellSouth Classic, 2005 U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee.
2008 FedEx Cup playoffs: 59th, finished at BMW Championship.
World ranking: 81st.
This season: The Portland native had his best year in 2005 with a win and two runner-up finishes (and 69.89 stroke average). This season hasn't been far off the pace, and likely more satisfying since he's coming off an injury-plagued 2007 (back) in which he played nine events.
Crane comments: "I try and play golf, live in the present."
Moore's comments: "He's one of those guys, the only thing that's held him back is injuries. He's a very consistent ball striker with plenty of power and accuracy, and he's an incredible putter."

BUBBA WATSON
Age: 29.
Hometown: Bagdad, Fla.
PGA Tour wins: None.
2008 FedEx Cup playoffs: 29th, advanced to The Tour Championship in Atlanta (Sept 25-28).
World ranking: 97th.
This season: He's not just a long-driving freak. Almost on a weekly basis, Watson is flashing a better all-around game, and is putting together his best season on tour (he’s made 17 of 26 cuts). Watson almost won earlier this season at the Buick Open, placing second to Kenny Perry.
Watson comments: "I'm not big on techniques and swings."
Moore's comments: "He's probably playing some of his best golf, ever. His game, obviously, it never changes – it's always spectacular to watch. What he can do with a golf ball is second to none on the amount he can curve it, work it and shape it. And the distance is incredible."
