Olympia's Cameron Peck, and Tacoma's Andrew Yun each won their boys' singles match, and Silverdale's Erynne Lee was also successful as the United States stomped Europe, 22-2, for a victory at the 2008 Junior Ryder Cup.

The American team won 11 of 12 singles matches at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Ky.

Peck, the top-ranked junior in the world, stopped Stanislas Gautier, 5-and-4. Yun, who recently committed to Stanford, beat Julien Brun, 3-and-2. Lee, a junior at Central Kitsap High School, defeated Daisy Nielsen, 3-and-1.

"We knew we had a wonderful team to play in Europe but our United States players came here to win and they proved they were the quality players we knew they could be when we announced the team," said Ken Lindsay, the president of the PGA of America.
