This week: Nationwide Tour's WNB Golf Classic, today through Sunday, Midland Country Club, Midland Texas.
World ranking: 554th.
2008 earnings: $119,260 (46th on Nationwide Tour).
Last tournament: The Tacoma native is coming off a tied-for-52nd showing at the Oregon Classic (2-under-par 286) in late September, and has made four consecutive cuts. Counting this week, three full-field events remain before the Nationwide Tour Championship on Nov. 6-9 where the top 60 players on the money list will advance. Putnam's 300 birdies this season rank No. 3 on tour.
Tee time today: 10:44 a.m. PDT with Anders Hultman and Chris Nallen.
