This week: Nationwide Tour's Panama Digicel Championship, Thursday through Sunday, Panama Golf Club in Panama City.
Second-round score: 3-over-par 73.
Position: Putnam (13-over 153) missed the cut and finished 131st. Three golfers lead at 136).
Recap: Opening with an 80 like Putnam did Thursday, and you've all but sealed your tournament fate. The Tacoma golfer played marginally better with three birdies, but big numbers crept up again – a triple bogey on the par-4 seventh and a double bogey on the par-4 18th on one of the most difficult courses the tour visits.
Next: Moonah Classic starting Feb. 26 in Australia.
