This week: PGA Tour's Northern Trust Open, Thursday through Sunday, Riviera Country Club, Los Angeles.

Second-round score: Even-par 71.

Position: By day's end, Moore (3-under 139) should be around the top 30 somewhere (he's currently tied for 29th).

Recap: The good news is the Puyallup resident made the cut for the second time in five tournaments. The not-so-good news is was near the top 10 midway through his round after being 2-under at one point, and could not hold that position. Moore added two more birdies on par-3 holes, including one on the notable bunker-in-the-middle-of-the-putting-surface sixth. It was playing 202 yards Friday, and Moore carried his tee shot to the back part of the green, stopping it 17 inches from the cup. He made birdie, one of three on his round.

Tee time Friday: To be determined.
