This week: PGA Tour's Mayakoba Golf Classic, Thursday through Sunday, El Camaleon Golf Club, Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
First-round score: 12-over-par 82.
Position: After his round, Kelly withdrew from the tournament. Bo Van Pelt leads after his 7-under 63.
Recap: Three double bogeys, and a quadruple bogey-8 on the par-4 14th led to Kelly's worst round of 2008. He hit eight of 18 greens in regulation. He was one of three golfers to withdraw after the first round.
Next: The field for next week's Honda Classic won't be set until today, so it is uncertain when Kelly will play next.
