This week: PGA Tour's Honda Classic, Thursday through Sunday, PGA National Resort and Spa's Champion Course, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Second-round score: 1-over-par 71.

Position: Moore (8-over 148) tied for 120th, and missed the cut by five strokes. Y.E. Yang leads at 7-under 133.

Recap: The Puyallup resident just never made enough birdies to recover from his slow start Thursday. He was 1-under on his round before taking on the "Bear Trap" stretch – and again came away with back-to-back bogeys. They came at the 16th and 17th holes where he did not get up-and-down from greenside bunkers. Moore made putts (23 total in second round), but was sub-par hitting greens in regulation (seven of 18).

Next: Puerto Rico Open starting Thursday at Trump International Golf Club in Rio Grande.
