This week: PGA Tour's Shell Houston Open, Thursday through Sunday, Redstone Golf Club Tournament Course, Humble, Texas.

Second-round score: 4-under-par 68.

Third-round score: 3-under through 12 holes.

Position: At 9-under, Moore is tied for sixth, and trails leader Bo Van Pelt (11-under) by two strokes. The third round was suspended because of darkness.

Recap: Can the Puyallup golfer make one final push for his first PGA Tour win and get in next week's Masters. That is what Johnson Wagner did last year, and Moore is right there in contention after sinking a 14-foot birdie putt on the par-4 12th, posting back-to-back birdies to end his day. It was his third consecutive birdie on the 12th. Moore has only missed 10 greens in regulation (out of 48 holes) in the tournament so far, 11th in the field.

Tee time Sunday: Moore will tee off on the par-5 13th hole today starting at 5:30 a.m. PDT. If he stays in the top 10, he'll likely tee up right around noon PDT for the final round.
