This week: Nationwide Tour's Rex Hospital Open, Thursday through Sunday, TPC Wakefield Plantation, Raleigh, N.C.
World ranking: 743rd.
2009 earnings: $12,754 (104th on the Nationwide Tour).
Last tournament: The Tacoma golfer has missed the cut in his past two weeks, including the BMW Charity Pro-Am (6-under 209) on May 17. Putnam needs to get going – his best finish is a tied-for-29th at the Moonah Classic in March. This tournament has been good to him. He placed third in 2007.
Tee time Thursday: 4 a.m. PDT off the first tee with Jon Mills and Brennan Webb.
