Of course "10 Things I Hate About You" was filmed here, and so was "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle."
But now Tacoma gets another mention in a film ...
Skip ahead to about 1:15 for the good part.
(A version of this clip showed up on "The Daily Show" last night, including the Tacoma reference.)
Sooo, why is that bug headed to Tacoma?

COMMENTS:
these lame formula 3d movies are a blight to a whole generation of children.

what is the formula? Hollywood star voice over + easily animated objects (toys, bugs, cars, animal droppings) + lucrative fast food marketing alliances.

It is a sham! If you are an inhuman monster who hates your children, take them to see 3D cartoons!

why not feed your children's young minds with joy?

Take a hint from a chum who KNOWS, only show them films/cartoons at least 50 years old. you know the classics... before they were commercial laden brainwashing. You'll be doing a service to the future.

Hey, your friend Seinfeld also mentioned the word ‘dead’ - obviously drawing attention to Day of the Dead procession tonight - the timing chosen very carefully to coincide with our event. We will not fall for the trick, nope. He can’t get us to promote his flick on our site www.on6thave.com/day-of-dead
What NIN said. The only 3D cartoon I can think of that I like is the episode where Homer goes 3D.
And as someone at another blog responded when this movie was mentioned,
"I knew Lion King was a stolen idea, but now they’ve ripped off Maja the Bee! (aka Biene Maja, Pszczó?ka Maja, et al.)..."
