Even as general manager Jack Zduriencik begins interviewing managerial candidates, he's found the time - and the men he wants - to continue retooling the Seattle Mariners front office.

On Monday, Zduriencik named Tom McNamara Director of Amateur Scouting and Carmen Fusco Director of Pro Scouting.

He also came up with a title for Tony Blengino - Special Assistant to the GM, Baseball Operations.

Blengino and McNamara worked with Zduriencik in Milwaukee. Fusco, 55, once coached with Zduriencik in the college ranks.

Larry I will give Zduriencik credit he's giving the FO a much needed housecleaning and surrounding himself with baseball savvy people who can help him turn this around within an acceptable timetable.
Hopefully the Terrible Twosome will remain aloof and out of Zduriencik's way and let happen what happens.
After last season with 101 losses quite frankly any improvement that produces wins instead of losses is welcomed.
Quite frankly Zduriencik was the reason why the Brewers are where the Brewers are a contender in pretty tough NL central with Cubs and Cards no easy task by a longshot.
LIncoln/Armstrong you hired the man now let him work and do what needs doing to return to contention and winning.
Just maybe a World Series will be in the cards for Seattle.
