Let's talk politics.

The state Republican party filed a complaint today with the Public Disclosure Commission about Gov. Chris Gregoire's use of more than $100,000 for what they deem "campaign activities."

Problem is, the PDC isn't the right place to send it. It should have gone to the Executive Ethics department of the Attorney General Rob McKenna's office. (You know, Gregoire's old office.)

That's according to Doug Ellis with the PDC, who should know. He said they contacted the state Republicans to let them know it's not their jurisdiction. They offered to forward it to the proper agency, but haven't heard back just yet.

Gee, I wonder why the Republicans wanted to keep this away from Attorney General Rob "RMK" McKenna, who has a happy warrior mentality and a love of fiscal responsibility.

Could be that I guess John LOSER-burg will find some reason to smear RMK from minute one for even accepting the complaint. Once Chris Gregoire is found guilty, John LOSER-burg will proceed to write some hate-filled fumigation on his website, a website I shall not link to. It's a disgusting and vacous website with a five page bio behind a very long "condensed" bio. Plus a long list of endorsements where even his wife (in all fairness a Tacoma City Councilwoman) endorses him (If your own wife doesn't endorse you, you shouldn't run for office.). Oh and three (3) short paragraphs of issues full of left-wing codespeak. There'll probably be a fourth paragraph on the issue page if Luke Esser lets his pal RMK have a crack at this one...

So yeah, the Republicans have a vested interest (actually several) in seeing if the PDC instead of RMK's people can address this issue. Good for them.
