...And apparently there is at least one more on the way, not counting the Democrats and Republicans.....

FYI—Three tickets now cleared for the November ballot in Washington state. The Democratic and Republican presidential tickets will be placed on the ballot after their respective national conventions.

Subject: Presidential Candidates Qualified for the Primary

As you may know, independent and minor party candidates are nominated by conventions currently being held through July 26, with signatures due August 1. So far three have submitted petitions and have qualified to appear on the General Election Ballot. The parties are listed in no particular order:

Socialist Workers Party

President James E. Harris

Vice President Alyson Kennedy

Party for Socialism & Liberation

President Gloria La Riva

Vice President Eugene Puryear

Independent Candidate

President Ralph Nader

Vice President Matt Gonzalez

We know of at least one more party collecting signatures. We will keep all of you advised as other candidates qualify for the ballot.
