Abdul Gaddy and Avery Bradley have been selected to play in the 2009 Jordan Brand Classic. The game, which has attracted some of the best high school seniors in the country, will be played at Madison Square Garden in New York City and will be televised at 5 p.m. on April 18 on ESPN2.
Among the players joining Gaddy and Bradley are Xavier Henry (committed to Memphis), Derrick Favors (Georgia Tech), John Henson (North Carolina), DeMarcus Cousins (undecided) and Renardo Sidney (undecided).
Sumner volleyball player Jocelyn Levig was named one of PrepVolleyball.com's 150 all-Americans. Levig, a 6-foot outside hitter will play at the University of Oregon next season, was joined by three other Washington players:
