The first round of the state golf tournaments are complete and a pair of South Sound golfers are leading their respective events.
Enumclaw's Jake Erickson is tied with Daniel Snoey of Camas atop the 3A boys event with scores of 72. Timberline's Cameron Peck lurks in third with 73.
In the Class 2B/1B girls tournament, Life Christian sophomore Kristen Rue, the defending champion, has a seemingly insurmountable l2-stroke lead after carding a 72.
