Eric D. Williams took over the Seahawks beat and Seahawks Insider blog in December. Williams has covered the Seahawks, Sonics and high school sports for The News Tribune since joining the paper in 2006. Eric lives in Tacoma with his wife and two children.

Matt Hasselbeck was asked about the possibility of his brother, Tim, joining the Seahawks as the third quarterback that the team is seeking:
“That would be great," Hasselbeck said. "That would be a dream come true for me. It’s not really my style to lobby the coaching staff or management or anything like that. Hopefully, I think the second week of the season, he’ll probably get picked up somewhere and definitely help somebody. That’d be great for me. We’ll see. You never know.”
