Back at the desk after the practice. A few highlights:

* Deion Branch made a brief appearance, running a few routes with the first-team offense. Mostly, he worked on the side, running and doing agility drills. Coach Mike Holmgren said Branch is a game-time decision.

* No Shaun Alexander. Holmgren said Alexander did some conditioning but Alexander was not at practice. He's a game-time decision, too.

* Some of the injured guys were at practice, but not doing much. Patrick Kerney was out there with a helmet, but he was watching, just like Marcus Pollard and Baraka Atkins.

* Getting the work at Kerney's DE spot was Ellis Wyms. He's been there all week, despite being listed as a DT.

* Pork Chop Womack saw a little time at RT for Sean Locklear, but Locklear got the majority of the work.

I'd feel better if Deion was working with Hass to get that rapport going.

i bet SF is licking their chops.

but hey... it could be worse!

washington may lose Moss and Antwaan Randle El in their sunday game. I know I know both of these WR's havnt even scored a TD yet this year but.... we do have it better. It could be worse.

it could be worse: example- St. Louis

Wyms starting at DE? At this point, it seems we're wasting a roster spot on Babin and we got zero value in exchange for Boulware.

nidhighe,

Boulware is not seeing the field for Houston at all either. So I think both teams got what they expected.

Injuries to their first two receivers and two best defensive stars sure reduced Pittsburgh's effectiveness. By all of the talk above, one could speculate that if they were healthy the score would have been 42-0 and not 21-0.

Makes the B. Fischer trade even more questionable

Any chance Bbin could play for Kerney? Haven't seen him much
mingweezy @ 16:43 - Friday, November 9th, 2007 Email
Bbin = Babin

Denver just cut Simeon Rice, i know he kinda sucks now but he's beter than Babin.
Surf Hawk @ 20:29 - Friday, November 9th, 2007
Sign Simeon Rice to an 11 week contract.

you all make no sense, fisher can't start or see much action tn. and boulware was so bad for houston he rarely plays yet we should have kept them and play them?
navy_at_3 @ 00:44 - Saturday, November 10th, 2007 Email
no way S Rice deserves an 8 year multi million $$ contract imho
