(On the outcome of the fourth down play)
“I saw the whole thing. I was coming on a down block, saw the ball and made a play. The only thing I was thinking was, ‘Get there.’ I was probably the only guy there that was free on my side. I knew I had to make the play and I was able to do that.”

[More:]

(On the adjustments made at halftime)
“The Rams are explosive, so in the first half we were sort of feeling those guys out. We came into halftime and the coaches from overhead really got a bead on them and what they were trying to do. We then just played accordingly. We continue to grow as a team and we worked hard in practice and it starting to come together for us.”

(On being behind early in the game)
“We could have packed it in and looked toward next week, but we had a very good shot at winning this game. So we just gave it our all and broke it down individually on what we had to do. It turned out successfully.”

After seeing the replay, I honestly think Tapp would have either broken the play up or sacked Frerotte. I don't think it's quite as *lucky* as the media will try to portray it.

hey, niners swept the cardinals today, which means:

HAWKS HAVE A TWO GAME LEAD IN THE DIVISION!

It was great watching the Cards collapse

What a total choke by the Cards. All we have to do is beat them in 2 weeks and they are done.

The Cards not only could have kept up with us, they could have positioned themselves for a Wild Card with a win today. The Giants lost today...the Lions lost on Thanksgiving. A win would have put the Cardinals at 6-5 behind New York at 7-4 and with the tie-breaker against Detroit.

They really screwed the pooch on that loss. So much for the *pundits* who thought the Cards had a chance to win the NFC West.

I was at that Cardinal game. It was a great game, exciting, lead changes, and turnovers. In the end, it was lost in a fashion that the Cards have perfected over the years.

It sucks being a die hard Seahawk fan living in a division rival's city. I love football, and can't stand only going once a year. I need to move to Seattle.....

Come on up to Seattle, Moto! You'll love the weather. ;)

I don't understand why Tapp wasn't credited with a sack on that last play?
