Defensive tackle Brandon Mebane was on with KJR's Dave Mahler this morning. Here is the link. From the part that I heard, Mebane talked about his new "diet" so that he can lose some fat to get quicker so he can get to the quarterback more easily. He said he eats like four or five meals a day, then rattled off about 12 things he eats during the course of the day, including a bowl of fruit at 11 at night before he goes to bed.

If it means he can get to the QB more often and still stuff the run... so be it...

Hope that fat gets replaced with muscle. We cant lose any size from the DT position. With that said, Mebane is freakin awesome!

I met Mebane once and he is a hella cool guy. Really down to earth. I hope for the best and wish him luck.
