According to the Associated Press, Lawrence Jackson signed a five-year, 11.25 million deal with a 6.1 million signing bonus.
Seattle also signed free agent wide receiver Bryan Gilmore, formerly of the San Francisco 49ers.

Six million signing bonus seems pretty high to me, but Ruskell is a good negotiator so I am sure it is the market rate.
I knew they were going to sign a veteran receiver, but I was thinking it would be Eric Parker formerly of the Chargers. Gilmore has played in 82 games with 16 starts and 53 carrier receptions. He looks like a training camp tackling dummy to me, but we will see.

First off: Thank you for to Eric Williams for uplifting our spirits about this blog. I've been checking in here for years and it is great to see someone providing much-needed material with quality, too!
I hope this is a sign of changed direction for the staff and writers who (are supposed to) maintain this site. We as fans and readers need full-time effort to remain regular fans here. That just hasn't been the case consistently since Sando was replaced.
Thanks again and hopefully we get more pages like this! :)

wow snydro and bassnw, you morons still post here? i have to say, you two losers and the other disrespectful losers have to be the most pathetic inidviduals ever. its a freakin blog, get over it. if you dont like, go away its that simple. no one cares what you idiots have to say, because all you do is complain. if frank doesnt give you up to the second details, who cares!? what are you missing!? GET A LIFE! there actually is more to life than this blog and football, and if there isnt to you, then you truly are PATHETIC!
Eric appears to be doing well, but this IS the time of year when coming up with material is like shooting fish in a barrel. He's off to a good start, though.
Frank strikes me as the average journalist...just doing enough to get by. When you consider his forté isn't this sport anyway, and the Seahawks aren't even his favorite team...you're going to get pedestrian results. I'm not saying he's bad, I'm saying we've seen better (and we're spoiled because of if).
