First off, Bills starting left tackle Jason Peters is in the midst of an ongoing holdout for a new contract. So the Bills put Langston Walker, normally a right tackle, into Peters' spot at left tackle. Except that Walker just got hurt, banging his left arm in an injury that the Bills are saying might be serious, meaning that the Bills currently have no left tackle. With the regular season only two weeks away, Lawrence Jackson and Darryl Tapp might be licking their chops right now.

It's always more satisfying to beat a team that's actually at full strength ... until you lose and miss the play offs by one game.

I'll take any road win at this time!

No doubt... hopefully they're missing several starters. No one felt bad for Seattle when we literraly had DB's from mortgage loan offices and the US Border Patrol for our 2006 playoff game in Chicago... when we lost in OT by a post route by Berrian leading to a FG. Let 'em all sit.

Did you guys see http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080824/SPORTS0101/808240326 Seems they are licking their chops! I do hope we win the opener, and all the games after that ;-)

Well if I were the Bills, I'd be nervous about Kearny. Since their RT was playing LT, the RT is not a starter going against one of our pro-bowlers. I would think that the Bills won't be looking to throw deep passes against us since their QB won't have any time in the pocket.

Frank,

We're looking better because the Bills' have some injury problems??? Wow, now that is some ace reporting! Rumor has it that the Sonics are looking for an experienced beat writer exactly with that kind of talent...However, the candidate must be willing to relocate to Oklahoma City :-)

Kerney is licking his chops....I would imagine they do whatever it takes to get Peters signed now.

Just a bruise apparently.

"when we lost in OT by a post route by Berrian leading to a FG."

That's not what happened. Small Play Babs whiffed on his coverage and Hamlin was playing too deep. Grossman (the Seahawk killer) threw a perfect pass to Davis in between the 2. It wasnt a post pattern.

Tapp should be licking his chops playing the Bills 3rd stringer. Its the only time he shows up to play games.
BobbyK @ 13:25 - Monday, August 25th, 2008 Email
I've noticed that too. Tapp is Reggie White when he plays against scrubs, but when he plays against the premier LTs he never seems to do anything-nothing-zilch. Obviously you're not going to have as good of games when you're going against a great player, but I mean he totally disappears.

In Tapp's defense, his play really went downhill after he broke his hand last year. It's nice to know that hand is back to 100%.

No matter how we win, the rest of the world will find a way to make excuses for it.

F*CK 'EM. F*CK 'EM ALL.

Just win the games.
