Rain steadily drizzled on the practice field this morning as the Seattle Seahawks trudged through the second day of practice.

The coaches seemed to crank up the intensity a notch or to and do more coaching on the run as the younger players still try to adjust to the speed of the game and the playbook they're trying to memorize.

Rookie receiver Deon Butler continues to make plays during seven-on-seven and one-on-one drills.

After making a nice catch on a deep ball on Friday, Butler followed up by again consistently getting behind the defense for a long gains. However, Josh Wilson did a nice job of shielding Butler on another deep route and came up with the interception.

Butler is sleight of build and seems to have trouble getting off the jam, but he's made some plays in the first couple days of camp.

Coach Jim Mora was wired with a microphone for the NFL Network for this morning's practice.

The defense continues to work on its base schemes and seems to be getting things down well.

Rookie linebacker Aaron Curry looked more comfortable out on the field today.

Kyle Williams played some left guard today with the second unit.

The offensive line for first unit continues to be Sean Locklear at left tackle, Mansfield Wrotto at left guard, Chris Spencer at center, Rob Sims at right guard and Ray Willis at left tackle.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Matt Hasselbeck are establishing some chemistry, with Housh looking good playing the slot.

Cornerback Kevin Hobbs made a nice play on a deep ball for an interception.
