The Seahawks practice for about two hours this morning, finishing off practice with a lively 11-on-11 team drill that included scripted, situational down-and-distance plays and a play clock.

Darryl Tapp and Na'Shan Goddard returned to action after sitting out Wednesday's practice.

Wide receiver Deion Branch took another step forward, working into some team drills today.

Both Jordan Kent and Deon Butler had long catches against Josh Wilson during team drills.

Aaron Curry continues to look impressive during pass-rush drills, with excellent speed off the edge and a high work rate. I know this is without pads, but he might be a guy who can rush the passer from a defensive end position during obvious pass situations after all, which some draft experts were skeptical that he could do.

Head coach Jim Mora shared similar thoughts during his talk on Wednesday.

During the scrimmage, both Brandon Mebane and Red Bryant proved hard to contain by the offensive line, making regular appearances in the backfield.

Baraka Atkins also got pressure off the edge a couple times.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh had two, uncharacteristic drops, including getting stripped in the end zone by Jordan Babineaux.

Receiver Mike Hass continues to make plays during camp. He had a long reception during the scrimmage, going up to grab a ball over cornerback Kevin Hobbs.

Hobbs later returned the favor, breaking on an out route and picking off a Mike Teel pass intended for Hass, and later spiking it in front of the offensive players on the sideline, drawing boos from Branch, Nate Burleson and Julius Jones.

The team drill at the end of practice cranked up the intensity on both sides, as Branch and Burleson chirped across the field to safety Deon Grant while the second and third unit went at each other.

Tight end Joe Newton also had a nice catch near the end zone.
