2007 Hawks Schedule2.jpgThe Seahawks' schedule has been released. Seattle plays three of its first five games on the road, including two within the NFC West and a rematch of Super Bowl XL. The Hawks also finish their regular season with three of five on the road, with all three trips to the Eastern time zone.

The team plays five games that kick off at 10 a.m. Pacific time, including four in the final six weeks. That is tough. There could have been another early kickoff, but the Hawks' game at Cleveland kicks off in the afternoon.

The Seahawks' bye week is in the middle of the season, something coach Mike Holmgren probably will not complain about.

As the Hawks noted in a press release, "Seattle's schedule features three prime-time games and four against 2006 division champions. The Seahawks will play on NBC Sunday Night Football twice and ESPN Monday Night Football once. All three prime-time games will be played at Qwest Field. Seattle will host both NFC Championship participants on NBC’s Sunday night telecast. The New Orleans Saints will visit Oct. 10. Super Bowl XLI runner-up the Chicago Bears, who edged Seattle in overtime to reach the NFC Championship Game, will travel to Qwest Field on Nov. 18. That game marks the start of NBC’s flex scheduling. Both NBC games are (scheduled) for 5:15 p.m. (PT) kickoff. ... Seattle begins the season at home for just the second time in the last eight seasons."
