An unnecessary reminder, I'm sure.

Good information on the Champions League championship match here.

HT 1-1.

Rooney to Ronaldo to Tevez on the break would've been GOTY.

And what's with Carvalho? Surely he can pull his head out long enough to remember that he and Ronaldo will be teammates in a couple weeks at Euro 08. That was a stupid challenge and he should have seen red.

And finally, somebody get Frank LeBoeuf a freakin' razor.

I'll say this for PK's: Whatever they lack in fairness, they make up for in drama.

Yeah, that was drama, and I think the team who played better overall won, so that is always nice.

I was able to avoid seeing the result yesterday, and had the match waiting on my DVR at home. Just to be safe, I also had recorded the half-hour show immediately following the match. And of course, even that recording ended after Ronaldo missed and the next Chelsea player knocked it in, putting the Blues in good position. Luckily I was able to catch the highlights on Sportscenter pretty soon after and couldn't believe that finish.

I was pretty neutral between the sides, but I strongly dislike Ronaldo, so I was excited at the prospect of him being the scape-goat. But alas, some rain and poor turf squashed that dream.
