The Columbus Dispatch is reporting that that Crew coach Sigi Schmid will not return to the team, and the official announcement is expected Wednesday.
Schmid has been mentioned as the likely inaugural coach of Seattle Sounders FC and reportedly met with the team last week.
In other MLS news, commissioner Don Garber is making a push to get Portland into the next wave of expansion. Hope that happens.
