Two Michael Bradley goals -- one late in the first half, the other late in the second -- pushed the USA to a 2-0 win over Mexico and a solid start in the final round of World Cup qualifying Wednesday night in Columbus, Ohio.

Seattle Sounders FC makes its public debut tonight against the Ventura County Fusion, which makes a habit of playing higher-level teams.

A local paper -- the wonderfully named Thousand Oaks Acorn -- takes a look at the Fusion, their scheduling, and noting their 1-0 win last season over Sigi Schmid and his eventual MLS champion Columbus Crew.
