A quick look at what is happening around the league today.

According to a report from a Los Angeles radio Station, Chris Webber is rumored to be headed to Dallas to sign for the $5.36 million, mid-level exception.

P.J. Brown is taking a closer look at Phoenix to help fill the role left vacant when Kurt Thomas was traded to Seattle. Brown also is considering retirement.

Truehoops weighs in on the ongoing Kobe Bryant saga in Los Angeles.

Houston guard Rafer Alston was arrested Sunday morning on charges of public assault and public intoxication.

And Matt Barnes signed a one-year, $3 million deal to return to Golden State.

On the Sonics front, Kevin Durant was voted by his peers as the frontrunner to receive rookie of the year honors.

And the prognostication for this year’s regular season has already started, with this report ranking Seattle to finish second-to-last in the Western Conference.
