Post-Sonics Watch
Feeling lost without your Seattle SuperSonics? Seattle-area NBA fans face their first season without an NBA team in 41 years. Primarily, our coverage here will focus on the City of Seattle’s attempt to bring the NBA back to Seattle. But we also will provide updates on the Portland Trail Blazers, the Oklahoma City Thunder and area players plying their trade for other teams in the NBA.

Keeping an eye on the NBA and Seattle's efforts to get back into the game

Sonics chairman Clay Bennett has called a press conference for 11 a.m. today to address a number of issues, according to Sonics spokesman Tom Savage.

I'm not sure what the press conference is about, but I'll have more information once I attend the briefing this morning.

I am sorry to vent here, but Bennett is rediculous, all the people that have tried helping him this week, and the proposals that have been thrown out there, and Bennett has to ruin it all by asking for arbitration! It just shows how much him and his investors want the Sonics here!
