Seattle City Attorney Tom Carr talked about the city’s suit against the Sonics on KJR 950 earlier this week. Listen to that conversation here.
Also The Oklahoman columnist Jenni Carlson weighs in on Sonics arena situation. Carlson is the columnist that was involved in the tirade by Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy.

I now understand the frustration Mike Gundy has with this gossip columnist who thinks she knows sports. First whe spews her uninformed opinion about Gundy's QB and now she feels the need to give maritial advice to the Sonics. Ya see, miss tabloid columnist, the Sonics are in a relationship with Seattle for 40 years not Clay Bennett. Seattle just wants Bennett to leave our wife alone and go find his own. I'm attempting to explain in terms you will understand now go back to gossip page writing and leave the sports opinions to others more qualified. My momma always says, Stupid is as Stupid does. And thats all I have to say about that.
I heard the city attorney on KJR finally. He drank the same cool-aid as the Mayor.
He kept saying that Clay won't call the Mayor back.
That's because the mayor wants to talk about Key Arena. Clay has made it clear he does not want to talk about key arena. Thus, it would be a waste of time to call him back.
I am beginning to think our City is run by idiots.
We are all pissed off because Clay won't consider Key Arena as an option, but play devils advocate for a minute.
Clay is pissed off that we won't consider anything other than Key Arena. So, he is trying to force us to think about something else. We would not even let it get to a vote.
Seattle is becoming a joke. That is just sad.

I posted the other day that I don't believe that Clay Bennett will keeop a team in this area as there is too much hatred of him here. I'm still hoping the NBA will force CB to sell; or maybe that Paul Allen & CB could trade teams with the Jailblazers moving to OKC & Allen owning the Sonics in Washington..
Lets just all show our support on the first nationally televised home game. Go to the game and bring signs tee-shirts, whatever. Stand in front of the Key and get others involved. Lets show people that we care and want our team to stay. As a huge bball fan losing this team would be devistating. Basketball goes along with turkey dinner and the coming of spring. It gives me countless hours of enjoyment over the dark, cold winters here. I am fully convinced that they only way we are going to keep the team here is to be proactive and have the fans stand their ground. In news articles from over a year ago I was reading that Stern was upset with the city of Seattle and the arena situation. It doesn't sound like we will be getting any miracle judgement from him.
