Feeling lost without your Seattle SuperSonics? Seattle-area NBA fans face their first season without an NBA team in 41 years. Primarily, our coverage here will focus on the City of Seattle’s attempt to bring the NBA back to Seattle. But we also will provide updates on the Portland Trail Blazers, the Oklahoma City Thunder and area players plying their trade for other teams in the NBA.
Eric Williams covered the Sonics' last season in Seattle. A Tacoma native, Eric graduated from Mount Tahoma High and the University of Puget Sound.

NBA officials have said the press conference could be pushed back to as late as noon Pacific time. Apparently there still some things to work through.
I tried to post this earlier but was unsuccessful but here's my conversation with Brian Robinson earlier today.

Having now seen portions of that press conference, thank you for asking what you did, Eric. :)
What has always bothered me about the NBA, and the new owners of the team, is their apparent feeling of entitlement for the multi-millionaire owners of a multi-billion-dollar private business with millionaire employees (players) to pick MY fixed income pocket to build them a place to play.
If they feel the fans should pay for their business expenses, fine, charge the fans, but don't charge those of us who really don't care to support their lavish incomes.
My Social Security check doesn't go far enough as it is.
Thanks for listening.
