Post-Sonics Watch
Feeling lost without your Seattle SuperSonics? Seattle-area NBA fans face their first season without an NBA team in 41 years. Primarily, our coverage here will focus on the City of Seattle’s attempt to bring the NBA back to Seattle. But we also will provide updates on the Portland Trail Blazers, the Oklahoma City Thunder and area players plying their trade for other teams in the NBA.

Eric Williams covered the Sonics' last season in Seattle. A Tacoma native, Eric graduated from Mount Tahoma High and the University of Puget Sound.

I continue to believe that making the Sonics God awful was part of Bennett's plan to make it easier to move the team. I believe He hoped that horrid basketball will minimize interest. It worked.

Look at the Miami Heat. Everyone was saying "Pretender to Contender" when they made the trade for Ricky Buckets. They even got Marion and they still sucked! At least the Sonics had a good reason for being so bad. Crappy owner! I do agree tho moo. The fans had that guy pinned from the minute he got here. Even if the team moves I hope that they MAKE CLAY PAY as much as possible.
