There’s a minor cyberspat brewing between two of Tacoma’s bloggers – over an issue that has been dead for a few years now. Remember when some folks wanted to bring the USS Ranger (the aircraft carrier in “Top Gun”), moor it in the Thea Foss and turn it into a museum? The whole idea is now, ahem, dead in the water. But that’s not stopping one blogger from resurrecting the issue and blaming it on the “liberal, anti-war, anti-military” population of Tacoma. Another blogger who worked to bring the aircraft carrier here responded and defended the city's effort to bring it here. And then the debate continued on in the 5views.com comments section. It’s worth checking out. |
