UW forward Quincy Pondexter led the U.S. in scoring as the Red, White and Blue knocked off Bulgaria, 96-66, in the quarterfinals of the World University Games. The win sends them on to the medal semifinals where they will face Russia at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Pondexter played a team-high 21 minutes in leading five Americans who scored in double-figures. He was 5-of-11 from the field (1-of-2 from 3-point distance) with four rebounds and two assists. He was 4-for-4 on free throws.
